It Came Upon A Midnight Clear

When the new heaven and earth shall own the Prince of Peace, their King,
And the whole world send back the song which now the angels sing.

We live in a broken world. And it's been broken a long, long time...
Broken promises
Broken laws
Broken relationships
Broken bodies
Broken homes
Broken...and waiting to be saved, put back together, healed, restored, renewed.
Brokenness since Adam and Eve walked in the Garden, seeking more than the Everything they had, the Everything they needed.

How long, Lord?

Revelation 21:3-4 says-

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

There is hope in the promise of a future. We will dwell with God. WE will dwell with God. WITH GOD. Did you get that? And He with us. We will be His people, He will be our God.
Yes...
No more tears, no death, no pain. No more brokenness.
This is the Kingdom we look forward to. Our Prince of Peace will reign forever. And all the angels shall sing.
