My husband and I came to the conclusion that there's a difference between "holding on/holding back" and "remembering". One is a burden that weighs us down. The other is to honor or celebrate a victory. The second is only good if it's God that gets the glory! tika nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04891095805917984685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2785721613815876487.post-47630384885943591872014-01-25T00:06:17.753-08:002014-01-25T00:06:17.753-08:00I think I probably wrestle with the same thing at ...I think I probably wrestle with the same thing at some level. I suppose that is why the verse later says, " straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal".

If it was easy, he wouldn't have used the words STRAINING or PRESS ON. Both indicate that it is difficult, you have to strain, you have to push forward. To me that tells me that there will be some obstacle to have to press against and/or strain against.

So likely, our process is 'normal' but in taking steps to get our hearts and minds around it, we will be able to walk more often in God's blessing and experience a better understanding of our Lord and Savoir and life in His Grace and Freedom!

Much Love to you my Sister in Christ as we walk this road called life on earth!Jessica Krohnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16040187397843933880noreply@blogger.com
